An investigation based on modularity by means of irregular geometries. “Is there need to create an infinitely modular object?” The bottle rack developed from a gestural geometry made with the computer. The object is free to be used in various positions, relating the weight of the wine with its own, generating unexpected movement. Prototype made in Anna Bayó’s pottery studio.

“It is fundamental that the cork remain humid on its interior side, so it is necessary that it be in constant contact with the wine. Hence the need for the bottle to be stored in a horizontal position. It is inconvenient to perturb the wine’s repose unnecessarily, and therefore advisable to use individual bottle racks to avoid moving the bottles.”
